PRINCETON, NJ -- Gallup's latest update on consumer confidence finds 41% of Americans describing current economic conditions as poor, and 83% saying the economy is getting worse. Both figures are in line with what ¿Û¿Û´«Ã½has measured thus far in April, but on the more positive end of what have been highly negative ratings. Poor ratings of the economy have ranged from 41% to 44% this month, and the percentage saying the economy is getting worse has fallen in the 83% to 87% range. -- Jeff Jones
